Arizona is amazingly diverse

Here are a few sights

Bisbee, Arizona: We visited the San Pedro House between Bisbee and Sierra Vista on Highway 90 at the San Pedro River to watch hummingbirds be banded. This takes place April through May and July through September. They also band song birds here. The Southeastern Arizona Bird Observatory (SABO) offers workshops on birds, butterflies and wildflowers. They also schedule walks and other activities. Whether you are a birder or not, this is a great place to stop.

For information about the Southeastern Arizona Bird Observatory and scheduled activities visit their Web site or contact them by phone at (520) 432-1388 or e-mail. SB 4/2002 Note: The San Pedro House is always in need of volunteers.
