Review of YogaRVing DVD
Yoga RVing: Yoga for RV’s and Other Small Spaces
Wow—an exercise routine you can do in an RV! Instructor Sally takes you through a three-part strength-based yoga exercise and stretching routine you can do wherever you can put your yoga mat down. Sally demonstrates in the aisle of her Class C as she takes you through standing, floor and relaxation exercises.
Yoga is one of the best exercises for maintaining flexibility, strength and health at any age. This routine, led with plenty of coaching, is doable by the beginner as well as the person interested in maintaining their yoga routine as they travel. I am a yoga dropout, having taken a couple of classes that I didn’t stick with. I found the DVD easy to follow. It also works for the experienced practitioner. Sally gives different levels for many of the exercises so the newbie like me can get value as well as someone who wants a more challenging workout. I can see where sticking to the program would definitely make a difference in my strength and flexibility. Deep breathing is emphasized, which also promotes health. In the program, you move your body along with deep breaths in and out. The whole routine takes one hour.
Sally is the instructor. Mary Anne, her partner in producing the DVD, is an RVer who wanted to be able to practice as she traveled. Teaming up with Matthew of Hawkins Media & FilmAds, they have produced a DVD that should be in your collection if you want to stay fit as you travel. Available at YogaRVing.com for $20, including shipping.
