Resume assistance
We offer assistance with your resumes at two levels:
The first is a Resume Evaluation or Check:
Is your resume working for you? Are you getting an interview after you send out your resume?
If your resume is not doing the job you want it to do, have it evaluated by resume expert Jaimie Hall Bruzenak. Your resume will be evaluated in ten different categories with notes on how you can improve it. You will be provided with a list of resources you can use to do so. If you decide to have a complete resume makeover after your evaluation, your $25 fee will be applied towards the cost of the makeover.
The second is a complete Resume Makeover.
If your resume is not getting you the interview, it may not be presenting your qualifications and skills effectively. Have your resume prepared by professionals! Even if you have no experience working on the road, an effective resume showcases the skills and abilities you already have that are useful to employers. It's a matter of making your resume work for you and formatting it into an appealing sales tool. Let Jaimie write a resume that will bring results.
During your half hour telephone interview session, Jaimie will review your resume worksheet (provided when you sign up) and obtain information to create your resume. Within one week, we will provide you with a rough draft of your resume. Once you approve it, it will be finalized and you'll receive:
- a resume that you can print out to mail or attach to an email to send to an employer
- your resume formatted for emailing to an employer within the body of the employer (in case they will not accept attachments)
- An Awesome Applicants resume (for WorkamperPlus members)
- files you can edit sent via email or CD, if you prefer, for you to use to update future resume
Once you sign up, we will send a resume worksheet for you to complete and contact you to schedule your telephone interview. Jaimie will work with you to make sure your resume is the best it can be.
